Question:
_________
.Look out on the approach especially for children and older pedestrians. They may walk across without looking. Zebra crossings have flashing amber beacons on both sides of the road, black and white stripes on the crossing and white zigzag markings on both sides of the crossing. Where you can see pedestrians waiting to cross, slow down and prepare to stop.
What is a Zebra crossing?
When you are approaching a Zebra crossing, there may not usually be a sign. Instead, you will see black and white strips painted across the road. In addition, zebra crossings have Belisha beacons, which are yellow lamps in the shape of globes on striped poles on either side. Zebra crossing rules
The only type of crossing where pedestrians automatically have the right-of-way is a Zebra crossing. Drivers should be alert for pedestrians who are either waiting to cross at the kerb or who are already on the crossing and stop to let them cross while waiting for them to cross to the other side of the road. Even though pedestrians have the right of way, they should exercise caution and wait for the traffic to stop before crossing the street.

Helping my daughter with the theory side of the test. Only wish we’d found it earlier on! Even I’m learning/getting reminded of what things mean again!
