Question:
_________
.If you’re driving on a motorway at night or in poor visibility, you must always use your headlights, even if the road is well-lit. The other road users in front must be able to see you in their mirrors.
Full beam headlights
On standard vehicles, full beam headlights are the brightest form of headlight.
They are tilted higher than dipped headlights and are commonly referred to as high beams.
They normally have a switch near the switch for dipped headlights, and they may use a different set of bulbs.
When should high beams be used?
Full beam headlights should be used exclusively on unlit sections of road at night.
When approaching oncoming traffic (including bicycles and pedestrians), following another vehicle, or driving on left-turning corners, switch off full beam headlights since they might be blinding and cause accidents.
